How far will I go…

for a milk shake? My normal response would be no. But boy, how fast the klepto runs when caught! Know what I mean?

A buddy of mine and I were playing pool when we both got the urge for some eats. We were at PT’s pub which isn’t good for much else than pool and beer. So we hopped into our cars and cruised around town for something that was open. It being easter made it a little more difficult to find a place. Not that it was difficult, EVERYTHINGs always open in Vegas!  So after a few left and rights we found ourselves one turn away from being on the Vegas Strip. Normally a bad decision to be in a car on the strip on a saturday night. But we managed to avoid any kind of traffic and parked in the Caesars Palace parking garage.

Now apparently there’s a food court inside Caesars right by the Forum shops! How is it that I never knew this??!!  I wasn’t that hungry to be honest, but I really just wanted something sweet. It’s totally out of character for me to settle, when it comes with food anyway. But on this night, a milk shake seemed to be my only option. So I walked rather disappointed to the counter and ordered my chocolate milk shake. “ANTHONY!!! This is the best milk shake I’ve EVER had!!!!!!!” now repeat about 20 times.

 Now you ask

“Would you really go that far just to get that milk shake again?”

My answer

“You mean, would I drive 15-20 minutes to the strip, spend 10 minutes finding parking, and wait 15 minutes for the garage elevator, then repeat steps again but backwards once I’ve got milk shake in hand…yes, yes I would!!!”

 It was that AWESOME!

..that it was still december because I didn’t know you and I was still sane!

Sorry guys, don’t wanna give out details. But needed to post at least that! 

 And I promise to start blogging more and with something really interesting to say that’ll last more than a sentence or two!

Discovery at my favorite restaurant!

Ever visit one of your favorite restaurants and try something new…and LOVE it! I met a buddy of mine, Tim, for dinner tonight. It was my night to choose the restaurant. I hadn’t been to RA in quite some time, so…

Located on the outskirt of the trendy side of the Las Vegas Strip, nestled amongst a bevy of other local and tourist friendly restaurants in the Fashion Show Mall, RA Sushi once again did it’s job! Now I don’t really consider myself much of a sushi connoisseur, but I know what I like and can more times than not find something good to eat. I ordered my ususal. Rainbow roll and two orders of unagi(fresh water eel) But Tim, not much of a sushi eater, was lookin for something different. Feeling kinda bad about choosing sushi even after learning it wasn’t his favorite, I helped him map through the menu to find something to eat. Enter….APPLE TERIYAKI SALMON! What a find! It’s a marinated grilled salmon topped with sauteed apple glaze served with wasabi mashed potatos! Mmmmmmmmmm Das some rully good eats! Needless to say, thanks for friends that let me eat off their plates! 

                                                                              On a differnt note. The other day I woke up and met Eric for coffee for the ummteenth day in a row. Rolled out of bed, gingerly walked to the bathroom and did my normal routine. Then realized I didn’t wash the glue from my hair from the previous night. Better yet, my hair still looked good enough to not shower! lol

Why I read

I hardly ever get caught up with debates and politics. But with the 2008 presidential election up and coming, I’ve made it a priority of mine to be more educated. I have already picked a candidate to root for! Barack Obama. Strictly because of his Autobiography The Audacity of Hope. I’ll find more reasons later! lol

One of my favorite things about reading, especially reading an autobiography, is being able to stop and say “THAT IS SOOOO TRUE!” or “THANK YOU!!” better yet “LMAO THAT’S FUNNY!”

Just an example…

Excuse this moment

Just gimme a second here. Let me sound like a little pre-teen kid crushing on someone. Feelings and emotions are seriously stupid. Stupid stupid stupid!!! None of us are mature enough to deal with them.  Always considered myself a very personable and sincere person, but I really have tried not to let myself get attached to anyone. That’s why I think Im really rather an idiot when it comes to getting to know anyone that I “like”.

Last I checked the time on wordpress was incorrect. It’s 11:38pm as Im putting text to these thoughts. Anyway, back to feelings(shrug shoulders at how lame that sounds) They’re noooooo good. Good feelings are, as I think right at this moment, not worth having if the complete opposite which apparently is necessary to have for the other to be what it is. I wish all my friends were single and happy about giving ME all their attention! lol Yes, I am that needy.
